So, I have the pleasure of knowing and getting to meet two awesome authors this year and today, they both are revealing covers to books that are going to blow you away! I highly suggest you add these to your Goodreads ASAP.

The Reaping Spell has weakened her greatest enemy, but now Esmerelda faces a different threat - one that haunts her dreams. To finally defeat Nicholas and end his madness for good, she must travel back to Spain with the help of her powerful friends.

What she doesn’t know is that in his weakness, Nicholas made a deal with the Death Keeper – his soul in exchange for Esmerelda’s life. Worse, she soon learns that the ones she trusted most have become part of her nightmares. The only one she can trust is the man who holds her heart, and together they must fight Nicholas to the death.

Fighting to stay awake so Nicholas can’t find her in sleep, Esmerelda prepares for the battle that will finish this war. One of them must die for her nightmares to end - unless the Death Keeper, with plans of his own for Esmerelda’s soul, gets to her first.

Teaser from Wolf Dream:
“Esmerelda, I need your help!” Julie yelled from the front of the plane.
That worried me even more than dying. She never needed—let alone wanted—my help. I ran as fast as I could, jumping over the dead bodies to get to the cockpit.
She looked at me with wide eyes. “He won’t wake up. I don’t know what’s wrong.”
Jarak was there first, grabbing Julie and pulling her out of the way. “Move, Es, I can’t let this happen, not right now. It’s not right.”
I didn’t understand what he meant but moved anyway. Ian was right behind me. “Camilla and Lauren went to take care of the other three breeds and Ailaina went to find a first aid kit to help Lauren.”
I nodded but it all felt so surreal. Was this really happening?
“Damn it, Julie, why’d you have to put them to sleep?” Ian asked.
“Don’t yell at me. I did what I had to do.”
Jarak tried every combination to open the cockpit door but nothing worked. Ian pushed past me to Jarak. “Move over, I got this.” He slammed into the door with his shoulder, creating a small but otherwise useless dent. Turbulence jerked the plane as Ian hit it again.
“Hey, man, I don’t see what you’re trying to do. This door is made to withhold attacks,” Jarak said as he returned to the door.
“Well, wise one, the plane is going down because smarty pants over there put the pilot to sleep and can’t wake the pilot. We,” he used his finger to point at all of us in a circle, “are the only ones awake. So, we need to get in there.”
Hearing Ian confirm my fear of why the plane was descending so fast scared me even more. “Let him try, Jarak.”
“Fine, but what are you gonna do once you get in there? None of us know how to fly a plane.”
“I’ll figure that out, right now we just need to open this door.” Ian plowed into the door again.
“That won’t work,” Camilla said as she neared the cockpit.
Jarak raised his hands in surrender. “I’ve already tried to tell him.”
“Here, let me.” She walked up to the door with a set of keys.
Ian moved back over by me, rubbing his shoulder. “Well, now you show up.”

Author Bio
M.R. Polish was born in Idaho, a long, long, long, maybe not that long time ago.... Writing has always been there for her. Growing up, her mind was filled with stories, some she shared and others she filed away to write down later in life. It wasn't until 2011 that she decided to publish her stories for everyone to enjoy. Her first award and when writing became more than just an idea was in the 5th grade. She won the scary story contest for the school newspaper. It is one story she still has tucked away for memories. Her teacher told her she could be anything she wanted and that she had a talant for writing, being creative and drawing people into her stories. M.R. took that to heart and continued to write, although mostly in secret until recent years.
Now you can find her enjoying life with her family - wrangling her four kids, setting traps in the house with toys for unsuspecting victims (aka, her husband) and writing down all her crazy and fun stories.

The #2kDy Challenge for Writers

Hey writers, want to join in on a little writing challenge? After attending UtopYA Con, Michele G Miller and I decided that we needed to get our write on! What better way to “force” us to do that (and stop screwing around on Facebook and Twitter) then to challenge ourselves to hit a daily word count target.

Now I don’t know about you but I actually *technically* had a target before UtopYA. Problem was I could kinda say “eh I’ll write tomorrow” and it didn’t really matter. SO, Michele and I came up with an idea.

The #2kDy Challenge!
Sounds fun right? It even has a hashtag!

- You write your 2k a day- or more if you are totally awesome *we know you are!*
- Tweet your progress throughout the day or at days end with the #2kDy hashtag
- Share what you’re writing! This comes in the form of a weekly blog/FB post on Thursdays -sort of like a blog hop. (you will share the links of all of the authors participating in #2kDy at the end of your post so people will know to check us all out)

*We realize many ppl do Tuesday Teases but his is apart from that. You can share a snippet of your WIP or you can choose to update people weekly on what you’re working on in general. I would even suggest that this Thursday tease be very short compared to your typical Tuesday Tease.*

The object should be quite clear...
* You will be writing!
* We can all hold each other accountable to make sure we are writing!
* We can cheer for each other when we reach our goals!
* Our fans get to see a small snippet of the fruit of our labor!

See how easy this is?? What we would love to do is get authors to sign up (find link below) and then we will create a document/linky with links to everyone’s sites/ FB pages so fans can follow along.

I am committing to writing my little heart out each and every day! I want to join the awesome authors like me who are sharing a small snippet of this writing by joining the #2kdy blog hop and posting a little tease (it doesn't have to be much!) each Thursday.

This blog post is going to be a doozy, so sit back and prepare for the glorious ride.

Today is Charlie's birthday! If you've read Promise Me This, you know she's a very low-key birthday person, but since I am partially responsible for that, I say we get a little crazy today. I have a few big announcements regarding the series, as well as a big giveaway planned for reaching 500 fans on Facebook.

I've received a TON of Facebook and Goodreads messages, along with emails and some tweets about Promise Me This. I just have to say KEEP THEM COMING. I love getting the chance to hear what you think about interact with you guys. But I have notice two fairly common themes...

Well, I plan to answer those questions for you today, but I also think book two needs a title. Well, I one have one in mind and I think it's pretty epic. It has been floating around in my head and teasing me. Are you ready? Are you totally dying yet?

Do you love it? Do you hate it? Are you as excited as am I? Because now I'm dying to get this one out there and share a little more in depth the love that is Charlie and Jhett.

So, now onto some questions, I suppose.

THE CLIFFHANGER. I know the ending is a huge topic for a lot of people. Spoiler alert: It ends in a cliffhanger. Not this is where I have to giggle a little, because when I wrote it, I honestly never thought to myself "Oh, I'm going to end this with a cliffhanger and make everyone wait months to find out what happened." Really, I didn't. I remember writing that final scene and smiling while I stared at the computer screen in front of me (through tears, because I pretty much cried from Chapter Twenty until the end) and thinking "Oh my gosh. THAT'S it. THAT'S the ending I've been looking for!"

Because you know what, I never knew when Promise Me This was going to end. I'm a type-what's-in-my-heart kind of girl and I knew the events that would lead to the end, but I didn't know when I would actually stop their story. In fact, Promise Me This was originally a single novel (GASP. I know, right? My head would be flying everywhere if I left it at one, I think!) until my beta's starting asking me for more and Charlie and Jhett wouldn't leave me alone in my head. Seriously, they invaded my dreams. They weren't done. They had so much more to tell the world and I couldn't give up on them like that.

I don't want to spoil the ending for anyone, but if you haven't read it and are kind of iffy just because of the cliffhanger, I hope you read it anyway. One of the themes throughout the book is hope and in my mind, that is conveyed through both Jhett and Charlie all the way until the very last sentence. They're fighters and are strong, and I urge you to really grab onto that and feel what they feel in those last few chapters, and hold the same type of hope until Promise Me Forever comes out. Take a leap of faith and trust me on this one, if Charlie and Jhett can trust me with their story, you can trust me with book two.

RELEASE DATE. So, for this question, you get your answer and then an extra answer for reading all of this. I have big dreams and that means big goals. By the end of 2013, I want to release two more books, one of them being Promise Me Forever. The other one will be the first in a Fantasy series that for now, has been dubbed "The Changers Series," but that is subject to change. So if you see me mention that, now you're in the loop of what the heck I'm referring to. That leaves us with the original question, how fast can I get this baby out to you.

Promise Me Forever will release in
WINTER 2013

So you know, SOON. Not like, next month soon, but hey it's not like years and years soon. And since I'm self-published, it means that I can go as fast or slow as I like. Being an Indie author isn't always a bad thing. I've had a ton of comments saying how "they have to wait almost a year for the next one." Well, guess what? Not from me. I love these characters too much to torture you all like that. And if you're interested in the Changers Series, I will be letting some info out about that in the next month or so, too.

Now for the fun stuff....GIVEAWAY! This is going to be a HUGE one. And there's kind of some crazy extra entires. As always, the only one you have to do is a question, but after that, the fun stuff happens. And I'm feeling extra give-away-y so, if you get super creative, who knows what else I will have up my sleeve. Let's make this a celebration Charlie would blush over and go crazy!

Here's a little extra info just in case there's some confusion. I learned about what an annotated copy is this weekend at UtopYA (recap post to come) and I knew I needed to make this happen. It's where I go through the paperback and leave little notes and things all throughout the book. This is fun. I have so much randomness to let out, and I hope someone wants to know it! So I'm giving that away. I also had a shirt design made up, which I will reveal on Facebook.

As for the entries, there's one where I ask for a picture of you with the cover. Let's have fun with this. Take a picture of you with either a e-copy or a paperback of the cover and post it to my Facebook page. I want to see and share these. Get silly. Get funny. Get creative. I may even post one of me! READY GO!
